Overview: We have worked with the University of Calgary on over eight projects including:
Scholars Academy – We updated the fixtures, finishes and furniture to create a multi-purpose space that inspires some of the University’s brightest minds to create the future by collaborating and connecting with one another.
Faculty of Science – As the Prime Consultant, along with our education partner Gensler (Chicago), we are excited to be involved in the design and development of the Faculty of Science Dean’s Office and Undergraduate Science Centre. This project will set a precedence for the University by merging six department’s student advising spaces with leadership offices, in order to create one unified faculty space.
USC Swing Space – While our team works to develop a permanent space solution, we coordinated the furniture for this temporary USC (Undergraduate Science Centre) Swing Space in the University’s new EEEL (Energy Environment Experimental Learning) Building. With a young and modern feel, this space inspires students to get excited about learning.
Faculty of Social Work – We re-orientated the grad student lounge for the Faculty of Social Work. The lounge serves as a flexible space for the changing needs of faculty staff and grad students.
“We are pleased with the design and have received many compliments from our students, staff and advisory council members. We would recommend them without reservation.”

“This is a competent design firm which has been engaged in multiple small and medium sized projects at the University of Calgary…and is both trusted and respected by PMO personnel and stakeholders. I have no hesitation in recommending Toker + Associates for institutional design work.”
